Turk, M. A.
Martin A. Turk has been involved in engineering, consulting, sales and marketing activities related to process automation for most of his 43-plus years of industry experience. These activities include process simulation, advanced control and information/automation system strategic planning. He serves as director, O&G Downstream Global Solutions Architect for Schneider Electric. In this role, Dr. Turk is primarily responsible for providing industry support to strategic accounts and major project pursuits in the hydrocarbon processing industry, and for identifying and specifying industry solutions that meet unfulfilled needs of the petroleum refining and petrochemical industries. Prior to joining Schneider Electric in 2006, he worked for operating companies and other suppliers of process automation technology, including Amoco Oil, Occidental Chemical, Honeywell and Aspen Technology. Dr. Turk received a BS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton, and a doctorate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
