The era of the integrated oil company has passed

The ever-opinionated and always quotable Tom O’Malley stopped by the industry breakfast Tuesday morning to share his wide-ranging thoughts on this wild, wild world we are living in today.  The thing that makes Mr. O’Malley a great speaker is not his bluntness or his quips but rather it is his savvy business acumen.  It speaks for itself, as the guy has made buying and selling refineries an art form.   Together with his company PBF Energy, Mr. O’Malley has put together deals that may not make sense at first glance but these deals invariably play out to the advantage of Mr. O’Malley and his investors.   To read the rest of this article, click here.
