H-Energy to study Nova Scotia LNG export proposal
H-Energy would target markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America. The project would be constructed in three phases, with the first liquefaction train of 4.5 MMtpa at an estimated cost of $3.18 billion coming online in 2020. The company is in the process of setting up a base in Nova Scotia to manage operations.
US energy chief urges caution on gas exports

The company is seeking to lure investors back. In recent months, BG Group has fallen out of favor with investors and analysts following a write down on the value of its US natural gas assets, big cost overruns at a key LNG project in Australia and downgrades to its production forecasts.
Indonesia to seek higher price from China for LNG
Under the existing contract, Indonesia can renegotiate the price when oil prices shoot up. The price of oil strongly correlates with the price of natural gas and LNG. The current contract, signed in 2006, uses a formula which assumes an oil price cap of $38/bbl, resulting in a selling price of $3.45/MMBtu.
ExxonMobil, Qatar sign pact for Texas LNG exports
This arrangement establishes a commercial framework to sell up to the full 15.6 million tpy output of the Golden Pass liquefaction project, and provide shipping and sales opportunities to existing and new markets, including leveraging the sponsors’ long-term arrangements for international imports.
