Cyprus eyes LNG plant with US, Israeli groups
The Cypriot cabinet approved plans to sign for a deal with a US-Israeli partnership to build a LNG plant on the island, seeking to exploit the area's untapped energy riches.

Glencore will focus on short-term spot trading, giving it flexibility to switch customers based on prices and increase earnings. The firm will utilize its existing sales network.
Shell lifts force majeure on gas supplies to Nigeria
NLNG, a joint venture between the Nigerian National Petroleum, Shell, Total, and Eni, had said the disrupted gas supply was the equivalent of 40%-50% of NLNG's usual total gas intake.
Foster Wheeler plans China substitute natural gas unit with Wison, Clariant
The pilot plant will demonstrate Foster Wheeler’s VESTA substitute natural gas (SNG) technology. Under the agreement, Wison Engineering will provide engineering and construction services, Foster Wheeler will license technology, and Clariant will supply the proprietary developed catalyst.
India looks to import more LNG from overseas
India is the fifth largest importer of LNG after Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Spain, the minister said, adding that he expects the country's LNG demand to grow 5%-6% every year until 2020. India has already secured deals to import about 14 million metric tpy of gas.
