DALLAS -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded a construction management contract from Oxea Corporation for a Propanol Expansion project at its manufacturing site at Bay City, Texas. Gazprom Neft building a hydrogen production facility at its Omsk refinery
Gazprom Neft has begun construction of a standalone 12,300 tpy-capacity hydrogen production unit at its Omsk Refinery. This processing facility will provide high-purity (99.9%) hydrogen for new and reconstructed hydrotreatment facilities, intended to reduce the sulfur content of motor-fuel components (blending agents).

BASF to invest in new plastic additives plant in Shanghai, China
HONG KONG – BASF is investing more than €200 million globally to increase its production network for plastic additives. An important step is an investment to build a new plastic additives plant at its Caojing site in Shanghai, China. This world-scale plant, with an annual capacity of 42,000 t, will produce antioxidants and associated forms and blends. It is expected to be completed in 2019, with commercial production to start by early 2020.
