Clariant Catalysts expands in China with opening of new office in Yinchuan
MUNICH — Clariant, a company in specialty chemicals, announced the opening of a new office for its Catalysts business in Yinchuan city, capital of the Ningxia Hui autonomous region in China. With the new branch, Clariant becomes the first multinational catalyst provider based in northwest China, a region that is home to a majority of the nation’s coal-to-chemicals producers as well as numerous syngas and polyolefin companies.

Clariant launches new phosphoric acid catalyst for fuel upgrading

The new phosphoric acid catalyst increases polygasoline, nonene and tetramer yields at lower operating temperatures, reducing costs and boosting productivity. Clariant releases new catalysts for steam reforming process
MUNICH – Clariant announced the launch of a new generation of high-performance catalysts for the steam reforming process in the production of hydrogen, ammonia and methanol. The new ReforMax 330 LDP Plus and ReforMax 210 LDP Plus catalysts are designed with a unique 8-hole flower-like configuration that ensures a low-pressure drop in the tubular reforming reactor while offering catalyst activity and selectivity.
