KBR has been awarded a three-year contract by BP Amoco Chemical Co. to execute maintenance and small capital construction projects at BPs plants in Decatur, Ala., and Cooper River, S.C.
The original contract for these sites has been in place since 1998.
KBRs industrial services group is differentiated by its ability to provide services across multiple sites within the same clients portfolio of facilities, offering cost-effective, efficient solutions, said David Zimmerman, president of KBR Services.
We are pleased to continue our work with BP at two of its key sites in North America.
