Evonik has announced the expansion of its sodium methylate production capacity at its Rosario plant, located in the Sante Fé Province in Argentina.

Samsung C&T to build Korea's fist ammonia import terminal for co-firing power generation

The terminal will include facilities for storing, unloading, and transporting ammonia. A 30,000-ton storage tank will be used to compress and store ammonia for co-firing power generation. The terminal will also use a fuel blend comprised of at least 20% ammonia for co-firing with coal to reduce carbon emissions.

Shell to temporarily pause on-site construction of 820,000-tpy European biofuels facility

Shell Nederland Raffinaderij B.V. will temporarily pause on-site construction work at its 820,000-tpy biofuels facility at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rotterdam in the Netherlands to address project delivery and ensure future competitiveness given current market conditions.
