Honeywell will deliver a comprehensive set of services to equip the Tuapse refinery with a single integrated control system. With Experion PKS, the refinery will be able to improve both the efficiency and profitability. Honeywell will also provide assistance during the design and commissioning stages.
Marubeni to import Russian LNG starting in 2019
Rosneft has been awarded export rights and allowed to sign long-term deals as part of the push by Russian President Vladimir Putin to boost gas exports from the country's Far East. Rosneft plans to build an LNG production base near Sakhalin Island, from which Marubeni will be the first to import.
Shell shuts Trans-Niger oil pipeline after blast, fire
Shell said it had already shut the Trans Niger's 28-inch pipeline to remove connections used for crude oil theft when the incident occurred, causing it to shut the 24-inch pipeline as well. It said the 24-inch line will reopen once it is safe to do so, while the 28-inch line will remain remain shut-in.
