Honeywell, Sinochem to form China JV for foam blowing agents
Honeywell and Sinochem have agreed to form a 50/50 joint venture, the firms said on Monday, seeking to produce and sell blowing agents for energy efficient foam insulation in China to meet growing Asian for more energy efficient materials. The formation of the joint venture is subject to Chinese government approval.
Dow, Saudi Aramco finalize Sadara Chemical JV
Saudi Aramco CEO Khalid A. Al-Falih and Dow CEO Andrew N. Liveris have formalized their joint venture (JV) for Sadara Chemical Co. by signing the shareholders agreement. US-based chemical company FMC Corp. has completed its previously-announced acquisition of the European persulfates business of RheinPerChemie GmbH from Unionchimica SpA.
