Enerkem biofuel facility receives approval from EPA to sell ethanol

MONTREAL — Enerkem Inc., a waste-to-biofuels and renewable chemicals producer, announced it has received approval from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to sell cellulosic ethanol produced at its Edmonton, AB, Canada facility under the US renewable fuels standard (RFS).
