Georgi Argirov is the Chief Process Engineer of the hydrocracking (H-Oil) complex at LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas in Bulgaria. He joined LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas in 2001 as an Operator of the gas recovery unit. During his 16 yr with LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas, he has held the positions of Research Associate in the catalysis laboratory of the Research Institute for Oil Refining and Petrochemistry, as well as Deputy Manager of a hydrocracking project. He holds an MS degree in inorganic chemistry engineering from Assen Zlatarov Burgas University and a PhD in petroleum refining, both from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has authored more than 20 technical articles.
