Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. (FWEL), a Foster Wheeler Ltd. subsidiary, has a program management services contract with Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC). The agreement is for a new grassroots petrochemicals facility to be built at Yanbu Industrial City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The complex will produce 3.6 million metric tpy of products and include a 1.3 metric million metric tpy ethylene plant. Terms were not disclosed. FWEL is providing program management contractor services for the complex, including front-end engineering design (FEED) preparation and issuing invitations to bid for each process unit.
