Energy Drone & Robotics Summit '19: AI can help build the energy operations of tomorrow

THE WOODLANDS--The Energy Drone & Robotics Summit is underway at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas. The summit brings together over 1,000 energy and engineering experts in the drones, robotics and AI industries.

Attendees are presented with workshops, roundtable discussions, presentations and demos which are aimed at safe/efficient and successful drone operations.

Many of the sessions cover best practices for data acquisition/management, risk management and integration in the oil and gas markets. Experts will share how energy and engineering companies can utilize drones for inspection, mapping and surveying projects. 

The summit includes an exhibitor showcase which offers networking opportunities with fellow UAV/Robotics hardware, software and data technology specialists.  

Attendees also had an opportunity to register for additional workshops prior to the summit. The workshops offered were lightSafety International - Safety Management System (SMS) for UAS Operations, Flyability Elios 2 Demos & Use Cases for Energy and Designing, Launching & Scaling Energy/Engineering UAV Programs. The event opened to all attendees Wednesday with a UAV Programs Update during an Oil and Gas asset owners roundtable.

The Energy Drone & Robotics Summit takes place June 12-13.
