TotalEnergies extends its fuel price cap policy in France until the end of April

  • The price cap on petrol remains at €1.99/L
  • Adjustment of the ceiling on diesel to €2.25/L
  • The price cap on diesel remains at €1.99/L for Gas & Electricity customers

Since the end of March, TotalEnergies has observed a very sharp rise in international diesel prices, a fuel of which France is a major importer, and therefore has to adjust the level of the diesel price cap which was maintained until April 7 to help its customers during the Easter weekend.

In this context, and in order to continue protecting its customers in France, TotalEnergies has decided to extend until the end of April:

  • the capping of the price of petrol at € 1.99/L  ;
  • the capping of the price of diesel at €2.25/L .

Given the strong demand for diesel in France and the priority given to the purchasing power of its customers, TotalEnergies stations will focus on the distribution of conventional diesel during this period of crisis and will no longer distribute more expensive Excellium diesel .

These measures apply to all 3,300 TotalEnergies service stations in the metropolitan network.

The Company will reassess the situation at the end of April in light of global oil markets. Should international prices improve during the month, the Company undertakes to pass on any decrease in diesel and gasoline prices without delay.
