Indonesia's Chandra Asri declares force majeure as Middle East conflict disrupts supplies

Indonesian petrochemical producer Chandra Asri has declared force majeure on all contracts as the Middle East conflict has disrupted its raw material supply, it said in a statement.

"This is primarily due to the security situation in and around the Strait of Hormuz which has resulted in significant disruption to maritime transportation activities and thereby materially disrupted the shipment and delivery of our feedstock supplies," it said.
