The Czech government agreed on Monday to release 100,000 tonnes of crude oil from state reserves as a loan to Orlen's Czech refining operations, Prime Minister Andrej Babis said.
Babis said the government was urging retailers to limit margins on fuels and was considering a cut in excise tax on fuels as potential measures to limit the rise of prices after U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, and was due to meet again on the matter on Thursday.
