MB Energy expands aviation fuel supply to airlines at Copenhagen Airport
MB Energy started the supply of jet fuel and HEFA SPK Blend (hereinafter referred to as SAF, contributing to reduce CO2 emissions over its life cycle) to airlines at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. This step marks an expansion into the Danish aviation market for the company, adding a further airport location to the ones already being supplied across Germany, the UK and in Norway.
To enable fuel supply to its customers at Copenhagen Airport, MB Energy has invested into the airport fuel infrastructure to access the airport.
“This investment underscores our commitment to help enhancing the aviation supply chains in Denmark, as well as across Europe”, says Simon Weiss, Head of Aviation at MB Energy. “We look forward to continuing our work in the aviation sector, ensuring that we fuel both today’s and tomorrow’s journeys by working hand in hand with our customers and partners,” he adds.
MB Energy will also be supplying SAF to customers at the airport, underscoring one of the ways the company is committed to fostering a more sustainable future for aviation by providing alternatives to conventional aviation fuels.
MB Energy provides tailored solutions for its customers, supporting their decarbonization journeys. The company offers a broad and flexible range of products, serving the conventional market, while at the same time playing an active role in providing a route to market for lower-carbon fuel solutions. The primary focus is on growing the business, especially in hard-to-electrify sectors like aviation, by leveraging its core strengths of sourcing, storing, handling and distributing liquid fuels.
