Coca‑Cola launches 100% recycled PET bottles for the first time in Singapore
Coca‑Cola Singapore is taking a groundbreaking step towards its World Without Waste ambitious strategy with the launch of 100% recycled plastic bottles* (excluding caps and labels) and the launch of a new plastic bottle collection program in Singapore. The 100% recycled plastic bottles* are now being used for the first time in three 500ml variants – Coca‑Cola Original Taste Less Sugar, Coca-Coca Zero Sugar, Coca‑Cola Vanilla.

This builds on the company’s introduction of its clear Sprite bottle with 10% recycled plastic introduced in 2020. Coca‑Cola currently offers at least one brand in 100% recycled plastic bottles in more than 40 countries around the world including Coca‑Cola packages in Indonesia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and now Singapore.
This latest initiative from Coca‑Cola Singapore is aligned with The Coca‑Cola Company’s ambitious global sustainable packaging strategy, under which the company aims to make 100% of its primary consumer packaging recyclable globally by 2025, and use at least 50% recycled content in its packaging by 2030 globally. In 2022, The Coca‑Cola Company reported use of 25% recycled material in its packaging.
The 100% recycled plastic bottles* maintain the high-quality consumers expect, adhering to The Coca‑Cola Company’s stringent global standards for food-grade, 100% recycled plastic bottles* and complying with Singapore Food Agency’s regulations as well.
