bp's 440,000-barrel-per-day refinery in Whiting, Indiana, on Monday reported flaring due to operational conditions, the company said.
"The BP Whiting refinery is flaring today due to operational conditions. This is not an emergency situation. Our top priority is the safety of our employees, contractors and the community," the company said on Monday in a social media post.
The company did not say whether the refinery operations were impacted.
