Japan's Cosmo Oil undergoes unplanned shutdown of No. 2 CDU in Chiba refinery

Japan's Cosmo Oil, a unit of Cosmo Energy Holdings, underwent an unplanned shutdown of the 102,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) No.2 crude distillation unit (CDU) at the Chiba refinery, near Tokyo, a company spokesperson said.

The spokesperson declined to comment on the cause or the timing of the shutdown, or the expected timing of the restart.
