IRPC extends abstracts deadline following strong industry interest

Hydrocarbon Processing has announced a two-week extension to the Call for Abstracts for the International Refining and Petrochemical Conference (IRPC) 2025, in response to strong industry interest. The new submission deadline is Monday, April 21, 2025.

IRPC, taking place Oct. 1-2 in Houston, TX, will bring together senior engineers, researchers, and decision-makers from global refining and petrochemical companies to share innovations, case studies, and strategic solutions impacting the future of downstream processing.

Hydrocarbon Processing encourages professionals to submit abstracts that address key technical themes shaping the industry, including:

  • Decarbonization and sustainability strategies.
  • Digital transformation and AI-driven process optimization.
  • Bio-based feedstocks and renewable fuels.
  • Refinery–petrochemical integration and advanced process design.

“As the pace of innovation accelerates, we’ve seen a surge of interest in participating in IRPC,” said Lee Nichols, Vice President of Content at Gulf Energy Information. “By extending the deadline, we’re giving contributors the opportunity to finalize impactful abstracts that will drive meaningful discussions at this year’s event.”

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by IRPC’s esteemed Advisory Board, composed of senior industry experts from operating companies and technology leaders. Submit your abstract today at hpirpc.com.
