Vietnam's Binh Son refinery says 2024 output seen at 6.6 MM tonnes

Vietnam's Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical said on Thursday that 2024 output at its Dung Quat refinery was estimated at 6.6 MM tonnes, beating its target by 15%.
The 130,000-bpd refinery is seeking to process crudes with higher sulfur content, it said in an emailed statement.
It said its crude distillation unit (CDU) capacity will operate at 118%–120% of designed capacity, and the capacity of the two sulfur recovery units will be boosted to 130%.
The company said it is also seeking to process new types of crudes and produce new products.
