Corpus Christi Polymers awards Worley contracts for facilities producing plastics
Corpus Christi Polymers has awarded Worley construction management and general services contracts. The scope of the construction management contract includes Corpus Christi’s new polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and purified terephthalic acid (PTA) facilities in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.
The scope of the general services contract includes providing support to the installation and maintenance of the construction of temporary facilities. The new facilities are expected to produce approximately 1,100 kMT/year of PET and approximately 1,300 kMT/year of PTA.
The contracts will be executed by Worley’s field services team based in Houston.
