HOUSTON (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc plans to shut the gasoline-producing unit at its 218,200 barrel per day (bpd) Norco, Louisiana, refinery as early as March 6 for a planned overhaul, sources familiar with plant operations said.

The 112,000 bpd Residual Catalytic Cracking Unit (RCCU) is scheduled to be shut for about two months to complete the work, the sources said.
