EMS Brüel & Kjær and Envea announce partnership to provide combined noise, vibration & air quality monitoring services

EMS Brüel & Kjær and envea™ (the new trademark of Environnement S.A Group) have announced a partnership bringing together envea’s extensive air quality monitoring instrumentation and its global distribution channel and customer base to extend the capability of EMS’ environmental monitoring service offerings.

EMS provides noise and vibration monitoring solutions to airports, construction, mines, ports and cities across 42 countries. It helps clients manage their environmental compliance and build stakeholder tolerance, expanding the environmental capacity that gives businesses the social license to grow. Responding to the growing needs of its customer base, EMS has been searching for the right technology partner to extend its service offerings to air quality monitoring.

envea™ designs an unrivaled wide range of state of the art analyzers and sampling systems for the measurement of regulated pollutants and air quality control across more than 50 countries. The portfolio includes tailored systems or individual air quality particulate and gas monitoring solutions, in order to meet industrial project requirements and regulatory needs. Its “cairpol” division provides easy and efficient miniaturized, sensor-based solutions for real-time pollutant monitoring allowing a continuous, real-time and cost-effective monitoring of air quality and fugitive emissions in industrial or urban areas.

envea was the logical choice of partner for EMS. It has a complete range of air quality monitoring technology from high-end reference devices to cost-effective high-precision sensors for pervasive monitoring”, said Phil Stollery EMS’ global product marketing manager. “Like EMS, envea™ is a global company with very strong domain knowledge and is highly respected by its customers”

Working together, EMS will integrate envea’s air quality monitoring technology into its product offerings and provide combined noise, vibration and air quality monitoring services through both sales channels. The partners will also work to put EMS’ service model and value-adding applications onto the envea customer base and, where practical, share field service resources.

Speaking about the partnership, Serge S. Aflalo, Vice-president Sales at envea said, “We’re excited about the opportunity that partnering with EMS will bring. Its approach to providing fully managed services is something that will have broad appeal across our customer base.”

The companies started working together in late 2017 and the first combined offerings are expected soon.
