Largest U.S. East Coast refiner sells all prompt gasoline amid heightened demand

Philadelphia Energy Solutions, the largest East Coast refiner, has sold all of its prompt gasoline as demand surges from Southeastern US states like Florida, according to a market source.

Florida and other southeastern states are typically served by the US Gulf Coast, but Hurricane Harvey has forced more than 3 MMbpd of refining capacity in the hard-hit region to shutter.
