Wood Group appoints new senior leadership in downstream
HOUSTON – Wood Group has appointed two senior managers to lead Downstream operations in the western region. Troy Norvell assumes leadership of The Infinity Group, which was acquired by Wood Group in December 2015. Bo Stanley will lead Wood Group’s chemical, petrochemical, refinery and industrial activities.
"Both of these leaders are integral to Wood Group’s efforts to broaden our market sectors and combine our capabilities so we can expand our service offering of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) to a broader range of customers,” said Michele McNichol, CEO for Wood Group Asset Life Cycle Solutions in the western region.
Norvell adds Wood Group Infinity to his responsibilities as senior vice president for the onshore Construction, Maintenance & Operations (CMO) business in the eastern half of the US. Norvell joined Wood Group in 2015 via the acquisition of Kelchner, where he was president. Novell has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry.
Stanley will lead all downstream sector activities as vice president for Downstream operations. Stanley has nearly 25 years of progressive experience in domestic and international projects, including refining and petrochemical, power generation, commercial buildings, and infrastructure developments. Prior to joining Wood Group, Stanley held various operations and business development positions at Brown & Root, Honeywell and most recently, Jacobs Engineering, where he was director of operations for industrial services.
