Spraying Systems Co. to host Spray Technology Forum for petrochemical, chemical processors

Spraying Systems Co.’s “Spray Technology Forum” is scheduled to be held on June 15, 2016, at the company’s Spray Technology Center in Concord, California. Attendees to the complimentary event will learn about ways to optimize many of the processes in their plants, including gas cooling, water wash, chemical injection, and tank mixing and blending.

The forum will feature new technology demonstrations, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling simulations in 3D to give attendees a new perspective on what really happens with fluid flow inside their pipes, ducts and vessels. New products will be demonstrated along with technology demonstrations that show how process conditions affect spray performance in high-flow injectors, how spray drop size is measured, how tank mixing eductors work, and more.

Chuck Munro of Spraying Systems Co. will present “Insights and Techniques for Successful Application of Sprays,” revealing ways to optimize spray performance, how to avoid costly design mistakes, when to use CFD modeling to determine injector placement, and much more. Experts will be on hand to answer technical questions and discuss the unique challenges petrochemical and chemical processors face in their operations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn PDH/CEP credits.
