CB&I wins maintenance work on Canadian coker

CB&I has been awarded a five-year contract valued at approximately $50 million to provide maintenance and construction services for a fluid coking unit in Alberta, Canada, the company said on Friday.

"This award demonstrates CB&I's ability to provide comprehensive solutions throughout the lifecycle of a refining project," said Chip Ray, president of CB&I's capital services operating group.

"It also positions CB&I on a long-term basis with a premier oil and gas producer and builds on our legacy in Canada, where we have been operating for more than a century," he added.

The name and location of the client were not disclosed.
