International metal processing group Manoir Industries has been awarded the complete furnace coils by CB&I for the Shintech ethane cracker project in Plaquemine, Louisiana.
The furnace components are based on Manoir's proprietary Manaurite high-alloy technology and are manufactured in its production center in Yantaï, China, with the coordination and support of technology and project teams in Pîtres, France.
The teams work under the 'One Manoir International' production scheme, which guarantees consistent manufacturing and quality control processes across all plants in France, UK, India and China, according to company officials.
This award is an example of the competitiveness and breakthrough of our business model with Manoir Yantaï," said Manoir's senior vice president of sales and marketing.
CB&I's choice also demonstrates the confidence of our clients in our resources and our ability to perform sizable projects on the Gulf Coast from our plant in Yantaï," the executive added.
