Alfa Laval to supply heat exchangers for ethylene project in Turkmenistan

Heat transfer group Alfa Laval has won an order to supply its OLMI heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in Turkmenistan, the group announced on Friday.
The order, booked in the the company's energy and process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 70 million, and delivery is scheduled for 2016.
The Alfa Laval OLMI heat exchangers will be used to increase the yield and recover energy in the production of ethylene, an important ingredient for the manufacturing of industrial chemicals and plastics products.

It confirms that our OLMI products are very well suited for the petrochemical industrys demanding applications," he added.
The Alfa Laval OLMI heat exchangers can handle temperatures up to 1100 degrees Celsius.
