PTT to study petrochemical, refining proposals in Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar

BANGKOK -- PTT, Thailand's largest oil-and-gas conglomerate by sales, is conducting feasibility studies on petrochemical and oil refinery projects in Indonesia, Cambodia and Myanmar, PTT chief executive Pailin Chuchottaworn said Monday.
Indonesia and Myanmar show potential, Mr. Pailin said.
Meanwhile, a $28.7 billion, 660,000-bpd oil refinery and petrochemical complex at the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in coastal Binh Dinh province is the subject of a completed feasibility study submitted to the Vietnamese government for approval, Mr. Pailin said.
