Technip inks Venezuela production equipment deal
Technip was awarded a procurement, installation and operation support contract by Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) covering subsea, onshore and offshore facilities, for an accelerated production system at the Mariscal Sucre Dragon development in offshore Venezuela.
The Mariscal Sucre Dragon field is located around 25 miles North of Paria peninsula, state of Sucre, Venezuela at a water depth of 328-427 feet (100 to 130 meters).
The project scope covers:
supply and installation of subsea flowlines
supply and installation of gas processing equipment onshore
operational support for the subsea, offshore and onshore facilities.

Technip France signed the contract that will enter into backlog over the third and fourth quarters, largely in the company's subsea segment.
The work will be executed also with the companys North America, and United Kingdom operating centers and with Technip's Venezuelan COFRI/Ditech consortium.
