Holly Corp. shuts down crude unit at Tulsa refinery

Holly Corp. has shut down its West facility crude unit in Tulsa, Oklahoma, due to a mechanical failure that was discovered on Friday night.

The crude unit is now being readied for repairs, which are expected to take several days, the company said.

Crude throughput at the Tulsa refinery is expected to be reduced by approximately 50% until this crude unit returns to service.

Holly has 85,000 bpd of capacity at its Tulsa West refinery, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
