Eagle Ford crude on the express to Corpus

Flint Hills Resources has completed long-term arrangements with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and Harvest Pipeline Company that will bring additional quantities of Eagle Ford crude and condensate production to Corpus Christi.

"We are focused on supporting shipping and infrastructure solutions for Eagle Ford producers," said Brad Urban, senior vice president of crude oil for Flint Hills Resources.

The agreements with Harvest and Anadarko will serve the Eagle Ford play in South Texas.

"This new 12-inch diameter pipeline provides expanded capacity and reach to our existing Arrowhead pipeline system for producers in the Eagle Ford area, specifically in LaSalle County," said Steve Jacobs, president of Harvest Pipeline. "It will have an initial capacity of more than 50,000 bpd and ultimate capacity of 90,000 bpd. We continue to expand our system to meet the needs of producers and purchasers in the Eagle Ford."

Recently, Flint Hills finalized an acquisition of a small craft pier and wharf next to its existing crude oil terminal in Ingleside, which is already receiving Eagle Ford production. Flint Hills Resources expects to begin outbound waterborne shipments of Eagle Ford production from the retrofitted assets by the middle of 2012.
