New valve automation center in Aberdeen

Severn Glocon has opened a new valve automation center in Aberdeen, Scotland, building on the company’s engineering experience in the design, supply and maintenance of valve and actuator products through its Severn Ball Valves and Severn Unival divisions.

Headed by ex-Paladon general manager John Grant, the new center signals a clear expansion of the work of Severn Ball Valves (SBV).  SBV supplies either manual or actuated valves as stand-alone products, but has increasingly been called on to provide whole package solutions by customers that recognisz the company’s drive train engineering capability.

At Severn Glocon’s valve automation center, they are investing in extended training for engineers to design, build and deliver optimum valve, actuator and control panel packages.

“This move capitalizes on our engineering intelligence experience and extends our hold on the market for engineered design, manufacture, supply and maintenance of valves and associated products,” said Severn Glocon Group Director Colin Findlay.

The center is based at Badentoy Park, Portlethen, Aberdeen, Scotland.  More info:  www.severnglocon.com
