Chiyoda giving Shell a hand in Singapore and Malaysia
Chiyoda Singapore (Pte) Ltd., signed a new engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) contract with Shell Eastern Petroleum Ltd. for a project in its Pulau Bukom manufacturing site in Singapore. The work will be executed with Chiyoda Singapore as the prime contractor, in collaboration with Chiyoda Corp. and engineering satellites in the region. This includes execution of the basic design and engineering package for the project, which was completed in mid-2010 by Chiyoda Singapore.
In other news, Chiyoda Singapore’s sister company, Chiyoda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., is executing a project for Shell Refining Co. (Federation of Malaysia) Berhad at its Port Dickson, Malaysia manufacturing site. Chiyoda Malaysia has been named main engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) contractor for this project.
