BP hires AMEC for onshore EPMS

AMEC has entered into a global agreement with BP International Ltd. to provide engineering and project management services (EPMS) for BP's onshore facilities developments around the world. This is in addition to the global agreement for offshore EPMS projects signed in June 2008.

AMEC is one of two companies selected by BP for this long-term agreement, which sets all the principles of collaborative working for the next four years with an option to extend. It will enable BP's onshore project management teams to access AMEC's international resources where and when required.

“We are delighted that BP has chosen us to be one of their strategic partners as they seek to grow their business,” said Neil Bruce, COO of AMEC.  “This additional agreement to provide our engineering and project management services for their onshore projects, as well as offshore projects, reflects again our leading position in engineering and project management and our ability to support our customer wherever needed.”
