Rios, J.
Javier Rios is a Principal Technical Service Specialist at Honeywell UOP. He is responsible for supporting UOP FCC and Merox operations worldwide. Over the past 14 yr, Mr. Rios has worked in the field services and technology services groups. As a Field Service Advisor, he provided onsite guidance and expertise during new unit commissioning, startup and troubleshooting for various technologies. In his current role, he specializes in FCC and Merox technologies, providing troubleshooting, optimization and operational assistance. Mr. Rios has been awarded four patents on UOP technologies and two trade secrets for improvements in treating technologies. He earned his BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
