Urdaneta Pérez, R. Y.
is a process engineer at Fluor in Madrid, Spain, and a specialist in process dynamic simulations and distillation technology. During her 15-year career, she has worked in petrochemicals, research and engineering. She served as a process engineer in fertilizer manufacturing processes at Pequiven, and she also worked at Invensys in Madrid as a technical leader and a models developer in operator training simulation projects and dynamic simulation studies. She studied chemical engineering in Venezuela and holds a PhD in process modeling of complex distillation processes from RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany.
Design pressure reduction in high-pressure heat exchangers with dynamic simulation
A commercial simulation tool is used to carry out the analysis of the transient phenomena caused by the tube rupture event during the design phase of an HP heat exchanger.
