M. Aggarwal
Manish Aggarwal is a Senior Engineer at Aspen Technology in Bedford, Massachusetts (U.S.). He holds an MS degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS degree in chemical engineering from the National Institute of Technology. His expertise spans process modeling, economic evaluation and chemical process optimization. At AspenTech, he focuses on front-end engineering design and the development of tools for process modeling and decision support. Previously, as a process engineer, he contributed to FEED development for Licensor packages for EPC and PMC projects in the petrochemical, refinery and utility sectors. Aggarwal has also led research in energy storage and supercapacitor development using nanostructured materials and microwave laser-based fabrication techniques. A Senior Member of AIChE, he is an active peer reviewer for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) forums and technical conferences. He also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of CEP (AIChE) and will co-judge at the AIChE 2025 Annual Meeting in Boston.
