Qian, F.
is a full professor and vice president of the East China University of Science and Technology. He has extensive project experience in the design and implementation of distributed control system-resident APC, inferential control and optimization strategies as applied to petrochemical processes (olefins, aromatics, specialty chemicals). He has published more than 300 papers and holds 25 patents. He was awarded the “National Science and Technology Progress Award” in 2002, 2005 and 2009. Dr. Qian received his BS degree in 1988 and his PhD in 1995, both in industrial automation from the East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, China.
