Sabin, S.
is the director of product management and marketing with the SETPOINT Vibration division of Compressor Controls Corp., and a key member of the development team for its machinery protection and condition monitoring offerings. He began his career as a registered professional engineer in Canada, providing applications engineering support for vibration monitoring instrumentation. Mr. Sabin was formerly employed by Bentley Nevada Corp./GE Energy from 1989–2010, holding a variety of sales, marketing and product development roles, and has authored more than 100 articles, white papers and technical documents pertaining to vibration monitoring instrumentation. Mr. Sabin received his BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. He has served as the secretary of the American Petroleum Institute Standard 670 committee since 1996, and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Eta Kappa Nu engineering honor societies.
