C. Reimers

Claus Reimers is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Akselos. He is an experienced technology leader with a deep background in chemical engineering, earning a PhD from the Hamburg University of Technology. Dr. Reimers began his career as an entrepreneur, co-founding SolidSim, a software company focused on complex solid process simulation that was later acquired by Aspen Technology. At AspenTech, he was instrumental in creating and growing the company’s APM business unit. His subsequent role at Lloyd’s Register further solidified his focus on asset integrity. Throughout his career, Dr. Reimers has focused on solving the "missing puzzle piece" of asset management: gaining real-time structural insights for static equipment to bridge the critical gap between process optimization and physical integrity.
