Zied M. Ouertani oversees ABB’s use of technology in helping transform the chemicals and refining industries for the future. Dr. Ouertani joined ABB in 2012 and has served as the company’s principal scientist in corporate research and as a business consultant for corporate strategy. He earned a PhD in Information Systems. He brings more than 10 years of global experience, and is skilled at connecting customer needs to value-added digital solutions. Prior to ABB, Dr. Ouertani worked at the University of Cambridge, UK, as a postdoctoral researcher for the Cambridge Service Alliance, and as a business transformation consultant for IBM, BAE Systems and Caterpillar.
